The Wyoming Arts Council will hold its quarterly board meeting on Thursday and Friday, Feb. 12-13, in the Wyoming Arts Council Gallery, 2320 Capitol Ave., in Cheyenne.
On Thursday, Feb. 12, you are invited to attend the board’s “public comment session” at 3:30 p.m. in the WAC Gallery.
The WAC board’s winter meeting is always conducted in conjunction with the annual Governor’s Arts Awards gala, which will be held Friday beginning at 6 p.m. in the Little America ballroom.
Board members also will take part in Lincoln Bicentennial events on Thursday morning and, that afternoon, will attend the reception for the exhibit by artist Mary Alice Huemoeller. Both events will be held at the State Museum in the Barrett Building.

The Wyoming Arts Council believes that experiencing the arts should be accessible for all, including people with mental and/or physical disabilities, older adults, military/veterans, people living in institutions and those who lack access to the arts due to geographic isolation, cultural difference and economic hardship.
