Wildlife Film Festival holds online “WILD Art Sale”

According to artist Todd Kosharek: His painting “Canyon” was started on site in the Snake River Canyon on the last turn before leaving the canyon and entering the town of Alpine in the early days of autumn in 2011. “It is part of a series titled The Kjarval Series, named after the Icelandic painter Johannes S. Kjarval. Kjarval painted the pulse of Iceland within his landscapes. His paintings were not sentimental but instead were portraits of living, breathing places, and that is how I have approached painting Wyoming.” “Canyon” by Todd Kosharek, 38 x 44 inches, 2011.

The Jackson Hole Wildlife Film Festival is holding a “WILD Art Sale.”

The sale features plein air painting, photography, sculpture and fossils. Proceeds will be split 50/50 between the artists and JHWFF. The online gallery will be open through the holidays for “truly unique gifts that will be treasured.”
