Wyoming Poet Laureate and UW Collegiate Chorale perform for Legislature on opening day
Featured News | February 5, 2014
Wyoming Poet Laureate Echo Klaproth will be reading her work in both chambers of the Wyoming State Legislature beginning at (approximately) 2 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 10, in the State Capitol. This is opening day of the Legislature and Klaproth’s first appearance there. She will be followed in the House of Representatives by the University of Wyoming Collegiate Chorale. The Senate has other entertainment planned, so the chorale will not be performing on that side.
The public is invited for these events — and others — in “The People’s House.”
Thanks to the Wyoming Arts Council’s Michael Lange and Karmen Rossi of the Wyoming Arts Alliance for planning the appearance by the UW Collegiate Chorale.
