From our colleagues at the Wyoming State Museum:
The Wyoming State Museum has posted a third slide show in its Online Technical Assistance Program.
The program’s goal is to give how-to advice to small museums in a format that’s easy to follow. The museum’s Collections Section Supervisor, Jim Allison, said the museum is always trying to find ways to help small museums feel more at ease with collections-oriented tasks that can sometimes seem daunting.
“If you haven’t used certain materials or followed certain procedures before, it can be difficult to know where to start,” Allison said. “ We hope these slide shows, and others that follow, will help make those starts easier.”
The new slide show, “Minimizing Light Damage to Artifacts,” can be found on the Wyoming State Museum’s website at http://wyomuseum.state.wy.us/Learn/Resources.aspx
