The Wyoming Symphony Orchestra in Casper has announced that Lindsey Grant, its Development Director for the past two years, is leaving. The WSO has started a search for her replacement. Here are the details:
Event and Production Manager, Volunteer Coordinator
The Wyoming Symphony Orchestra seeks a qualified and experienced professional to be an essential part of a local cultural and educational organization. The WSO is the central institution for classical music in Wyoming and contributes to the local arts community by hosting five symphonic concerts yearly featuring notable guest artists, in conjunction with engaging community outreach and youth-oriented educational activities to inspire future musicians, concert goers and financial patrons.
This position reports to the Executive Director and is responsible for all event management including concerts, fundraising events and special donor receptions. In charge of season ticket process including sales, communications and ticket handling. The position includes some marketing, development work and office administration. This position can be tailored to an individual’s skill set with room to grow within the organization, working as a team with the Music Director, Executive Director and Administrative Assistant to fulfill and further the mission of the Wyoming Symphony Orchestra.
The successful candidate has proven experience in event management and knowledge of business and marketing. Excellent communication skills – written and verbal and exceptional organizational skills are required. Compensation will be consistent with the successful candidate’s experience and qualifications.
