UW Summer Programs announces May-June concert line-up

Slow Caves

From a UW press release:

Synth-punk band Slow Caves will launch the University of Wyoming Summer Programs concert series Wednesday, May 27, from 11:45 a.m.-1 p.m. on Simpson Plaza in Laramie. The event is free and open to the public.

Based in Fort Collins, Colo., Slow Caves released its self-titled debut EP in June 2014. According to the band’s website, the band “explores a smorgasbord of diverse genres, drawing an eclectic mix of influences ranging from The Strokes to the movie ‘Drive.’”

UW Summer Programs features a different band every Wednesday during the summer session, from 11:45 a.m.-1 p.m. on Simpson Plaza. Concerts planned for June are:

June 3 — J Shogren Shanghai’d.

June 10 — Wynona.

June 17 — Rich With Friends.

June 24 — Adolescent Behavior.
