Eugene Gagliano
Known by children as the energetic teacher who dances on his desk, Gene is a retired elementary teacher and recipient of the International Reading Associations’s 2004 Wyoming State Literacy Award and the 2001 Arch Coal teacher Achievement Award. Some of his books include the award winning Dee and the Mammoth and My Teacher Dances on the Desk; C is for Cowboy; V is for Venus Flytrap; Four Wheels West, The Magic Box, and Little Wyoming. His interactive, entertaining and inspiring presentations address showing-not-telling in writing, charachter creation, focusing creative writing, and the fun of revision for students in grades 1-8.
