Wyoming Arts Council

The Wyoming Arts Council offers an incredible array of programs for organizations and individual artists.

-The Arts for Underserved Populations Program provides resources for communities and diverse populations to ensure that these regions and groups have the best possible access to arts programming.

-The Arts Education Program provides leadership in developing programs, grants and technical assistance to schools and organizations wishing to strengthen arts education.

Community Development and the Arts  The WAC Community Development and the Arts Program serves communities by creating social and economic development opportunities through the arts that benefit Wyoming residents.  .

-The goal of the Folk and Traditional Arts Program is to identify, document, preserve, and honor folk arts and traditions throughout Wyoming.

-The WAC supports Individual artists through fellowships, mentorships, professional development grants, artist registries and an artist roster.

Special events and opportunities include the Governor’s Capitol Art Exhibition, Art in the Parks, Poetry Out Loud, Governor’s Arts Awards and others.
